I hereby pledge to live up to my responsibility as a parent of a participating child in Green Soccer Association and follow the Parents Code of Conduct listed below:

1. I will place the emotional and physical well-being of the children playing above any desire to win.
2. I will help my child understand the valuable life skills and lessons one can learn through sports.
3. I will be a model of good sportsmanship and character at all times by demonstrating fair play and sportsmanship to all participants, parents, officials, and coaches.
4. I will maintain a positive environment for all participants that is free of negative and inappropriate language.
5. I will make only positive and encouraging remarks about/to players, fans, officials, and coaches. I will not coach any player from the sidelines.
6. I remember that I am a parent of a youth soccer player and the game is for the children, not the adults. I will support my athlete by providing a positive atmosphere free from unneeded pressure.
   

*Any parent or spectator who fails to adhere to these standards will be required to leave the playing area, and play will be suspended until he or she does so.
*Green Soccer Association reserves the right to take away player time or suspend or terminate a player’s enrollment for his or her parent’s persistent or extreme sideline misbehavior, and there will be no refunds of player fees in such cases.
